There's also a Leveled Magicka mod that gives you a constant Fortify Magicka effect based off of your intelligence and level. I always pick luck, since there's no other way I'm aware of to boost luck.

You still level up every 10 increases to major and minor skills, and get to pick three attributes to add 1 to. To compensate for this, every three skill-ups in skills governed by the same attribute boost that attribute by one, permanently. The ones without a visible modifier, you did not earn a higher modifier for under vanilla rules). The ones that display x1 are because you earned a multiplier under vanilla rules, but the mod changed it. With the MAD Leveler, default settings change skill and attribute caps to 1000, and at level-up, all multipliers are x1 (though some are blank, but effectively x1. I'm using the MAD Leveler myself, but I understand that both are good. In terms of changing the levelling system, there is Galsiah's Character Development, and the MAD Leveler. I played a Khajiit with a focus on stealth. It's slow if you're a non-mage, but I'm not sure about mage-types. However, I like Oblivion Magicka Regen (or something like that), as I dislike not having magicka regenerate, especially when I fail spells fairly often.

I use few mods to alter gameplay itself in Morrowind. It's also a compilation of faces from different people, so styles may differ, if I recall correctly. Some people prefer that, as it gives most NPC's in the game a unique face, though I don't think it's 100% thorough, if I recall correctly. There's another mod out there, called something like Faces of Morrowind or something like that. The animations for speaking are a touch jarring to me, but the models themselves are good. Be aware that there might not be the same option for non-nude beasts.īecause the faces that come with the game aren't that great by today's standards, Better Heads is a decent mod to replace character heads.

If you want that for them, try Slof's Better Beasts. However, Better Bodies does not come with models for Khajiit and Argonians. However, during installation, you can choose to have models with painted-on underwear. I was confused when I entered a cave and a topless woman charged me. Be aware that the default version includes nude models when you strip a character of their clothes, and there are some NPCs that don't wear clothes. In terms of character models, Better Bodies is a commonly used and supported mod. Still, more than once I've looked at something in-game (especially the sky at night) and said out loud, "Pretty." They are actually working on a new version, but that's a WIP. In terms of graphics, I liked Vibrant Morrowind. Others might have better suggestions, but here's some places you can start: Well, I'm not as familiar with Morrowind mods as I am with Oblivion, but I did reinstall Morrowind a couple weeks ago and looked for some mods myself. Some very good ones are to be found here. You might also want to snag a companion to travel and fight with you. Some passive animals would certainly help the immersion. There's at least one that replaces all the world textures with ones more akin to WoW, if you're into that.īeyond those, go here and start browsing.ĮDIT: I would also recommend some wildlife mods. Some make the world darker, others make it more vibrant. They serve to make the world prettier (among other things). There are several texture overhauls around. MGE also includes the Morrowind Script Extender, which is required by several other mods. They've managed bloom, depth of field, HDR, realtime reflections and shadows and much, much more. Morrowind Graphics Extender (MGE) is a project to bring Morrowind's visuals closer to today's standards. They replace all the models for all the races with ones that don't make your eyes scream in agony. Better Bodies and Better Heads are both a must.
